Retired MLC says improvement have been made
A recently retired member of the Legislative Council says the Island has lagged behind other parts of the British Isles when it comes to having an effective drug and alcohol strategy.
However, Michael Coleman, who was chair of the Drug and Alcohol Strategy Group for three years, believes we're now catching up.
He says his first move had been to do a strategic needs analysis, in order to be able to develop an adaptable strategy - something which he now believes is in place.
