Island experiencing 'unseasonable' and rare weather conditions

There's a yellow weather warning in place until 3pm tomorrow (22 August)

A forecaster at Ronaldsway Met Office says the weather conditions predicted for later today are 'not looking great for racing'. 

There's currently a yellow weather warning in place until 3pm tomorrow (22 August) with the worst of the conditions expected overnight - however George Shimmin says there's also concern of a potential further warning for Friday. 

He told Manx Radio rain is expected between 1pm and 2pm - which is when roads are expected to be closed for today's daytime contingency qualifying session:
