Israel talk to avoid the political
A public lecture this evening will provide a crash course on Israel, the Arab world - and how the Isle of Man fits in to it all.
Academic and renowned expert on the region John Levy is giving the talk, organised by the newly-formed group IOM Friends of Israel.
It's centred around the area's 'diversity, wealth and technological significance' - with the nation's controversial politics, it's emphasised, taking a back seat.
All are welcome to the event, which is taking place at the Elim Church, Onchan, from 7.30pm.
