Charity to teach renters about rights and responsibilities
What does it take to be a good tenant?
A question Housing Matters Isle of Man is hoping to settle in an upcoming workshop.
On Thursday 13 June, the charity is hosting a talk for residents, landlords and agents on how to be a good tenant.
Donald Bailey is a director of the organisation.
He says the event was prompted after instances of people being uninformed about their rights and responsibilities, leading to evictions:
The event is free and takes place at the Housing Matters Offices on Albany Lane, between 4pm-6pm.
