Hospice welcomes Tevir Group for first look at refurbished site

Investment management company's donation sees project through

Hospice Isle of Man invited members of Tevir Group for a first look around the newly refurbished facilities at the charity's Strang Unit.

The investment management company have provided the financial support for the charity to be able to undergo its 'Enhancing the Healing Environment' project.

Due to Tevir Group's support, Hospice IoM says it has been able to make significant changes over a 12-month period, instead of five years as originally planned.

Here's Hospice Chief Executive Anne Mills:

Ciaran Doherty, Managing Director of Tevir Group, said "Tevir Group appreciate the vital services that the team at Hospice Isle of Man provide for our Island community and so have been delighted to support Hospice with funding for capital projects since 2016."

Mr Doherty was on-site to give his response to the works:

With the project expected to reach completion by late-summer, Hospice IoM and Tevir Group are now calling on sponsors to help furnish the new facilities, such as the children's new sensory room.
