Hopes window walking trail will light up the Manx winter

'Window Wanderland' project to hit our shores next month

People are being encouraged to walk around the streets at night in order to see neighbourhoods in a whole new light.

New project 'Window Wanderland' will be launched next month; it was founded in Bristol in 2015 and aims to foster 'a sense of community'.

For three nights in March residents in Douglas, Peel and Port Erin are being invited to turn their windows, or gardens, into displays of creativity - forming a trail for people to explore.

Arts venues in Peel, Port Erin and Douglas will also be opening their doors for people to attend free workshops at the following locations over February half term (17 – 21 February 2025).

These are:

• Centenary Centre, Peel
• Erin Arts Centre, Port Erin
• Kensington Arts, Douglas
• Villa Marina Arcade, Douglas

The 'Window Wanderland' trail will take place on the 6, 7 and 8 March.

The pilot is being supported by a grant from Isle of Man Arts Council.
