Honesty box theft leaves 'bad taste' says owner

Farm shop in Sulby targeted

The owner of a farm shop in Sulby – which operates on an honesty basis – says the theft of goods and cash from the facility has left ‘a bad taste’.

Police are currently investigating after the Magher Grianagh Farm Shop, on St Judes Road, was targeted.

CCTV process is being reviewed.

Juan Howland says it’s not the first time the honesty system has been abused but admits it’s disappointing:

Anyone who knows who was responsible is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
