
A charity car wash at the Grandstand this morning (Saturday) will raise money to bring a murdered Island woman home.
Tina Casey, nee Halsall, was murdered at her home in the UK earlier this month and her Douglas family are facing a £4,000 bill to bring her back to the Island.
Her sister Tracey Wright says a variety of events are being lined up to raise the money – and already she’s had a great response from local companies.
She says today’s event, which starts at 11am, will be fun – despite the weather!
