Chief minister says overspending cannot continue at current trajectory
Continuing to overspend on health will damage the Island's reserves if not tackled, according to the chief minister.
Alfred Cannan previously said Manx Care must come in on budget after forecasting a £16.8m overspend.
The healthcare provider has since announced a series of service cuts, including restrictions to elective surgery and out of hours social work.
Mr Cannan, who's also currently acting health minister, says the overspending can't continue:
Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Suspended sentence for 56-year-old in cannabis supply case
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
