Ashford says response no longer driven by case numbers
Government says it's not focussing on the number of Covid cases but instead the severity of them.
The United Kingdom has recorded the highest number of Coronavirus cases in the third wave.
Despite this it's still moving towards so-called 'Freedom Day' on 19 July.
