Government needs to 'find a better way of keeping in contact' with Manx students

Around £10 million is spent every year supporting students through higher education

The education minister says we need to get better at 'following up' on graduate outcomes post-university.

A recent report from the Public Accounts Committee found a lack of information collected about the outcomes of those who've accessed the student awards system.

Around £10 million is spent every year supporting Manx students through higher education; but they don't always return to live on the Island.

Daphne Caine, speaking at the Locate Isle of Man 2025 Graduate Fair, said government has 'got to find a better way of keeping in contact' with Manx students:
