
Numerous road closures around the Island
People are being urged not to travel today unless it’s ‘absolutely necessary’.
Government says road conditions remain dangerous and emergency services are under pressure dealing with a number of incidents.
The Isle of Man is under an amber weather warning for ice and wintry showers which are predominantly affecting central parts of the Island.
It’s in place until midnight on Wednesday (18 January).
People are being urged to ‘protect’ the hospital by not putting themselves at risk of requiring A and E.
A limited bus service is running although there are issues with stuck and abandoned vehicles on routes around the Island.
Government says there will be a further update this afternoon.
