Public urged to stay away as officers evaluate storm damage over the weekend
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has announced that all glens and plantations on the Isle of Man will remain closed over the weekend.
Officers will assess the areas during this time to identify and address potential hazards caused by Storm Éowyn.
A spokesperson emphasised the importance of the measure, stating it is "crucial to ensure the safety of all members of the public and to properly evaluate any potential hazards."
The department has urged the public to avoid entering glens and plantations until further notice and thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation.
Updates are expected as soon as assessments are complete.
