Girlguides raising funds to reopen hall

Facility forced to close in December due to maintenance and new regulations

Girlguiding groups in the south of the Island are appealing for help to repair their hall after it was forced to close before Christmas.

Maintenance issues and regulations means meetings currently can't take place at the Castletown Guiding and Scout Hall.

Work to allow the facility, which has been in use for almost 40 years, to reopen will cost £8,000.

It's forced those who use the building to share space with other guiding groups in the south.
