The Trust is celebrating continued generosity as it progresses the extensive project

The Queen's Pier Restoration Trust has raised a total of £2,500.38 over two evenings of fundraising in late December.

On 23 December, £760.16 was raised through donations and merchandise sales, with a further £1,740.22 collected the following evening on 24 December.

The Trust's Chairman, trustees, and volunteers expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support received from the community since the project began in 2017.

Bays seven and eight of the pier were completed and opened in the later months of 2024.

A single bay now costs considerably more than it did pre-Covid, with estimates suggesting around £80,000 is required per bay.

They extended their thanks to all contributors and wished everyone a 'happy and prosperous' New Year.
