The move is in protest at a lack of outlets for farmers to sell crops
Visitors to the Manx National Farmers Union stand at the Royal Manx Show are being offered free potatoes.
The move is to highlight the lack of outlets for farmers to sell their crops - a situation it's claimed has worsened since the disappearance of Shoprite stores.
All the potatoes being given away are surplus stock local producers are unable to sell.
