'Fly tipping has just gone too far' says Beach Buddies founder

Domestic rubbish, cat litter and electronic equipment dumped 

The founder of Beach Buddies has pledged to start doing 'serious investigations' into people who fly tip.

The Manx charity says its beach cleaning containers have been abused by people dumping domestic waste, cat litter and even electronic equipment.

Beach Buddies has more than 50 bins, across the Island, for waste collection from beaches. 

Thirteen bags of used cat litter were found in its bin at Smeale in Andreas in September.

"We want people to use our bins to dispose of rubbish found on beaches. It’s definitely not for waste cat litter or domestic rubbish of any sort." - Bill Dale (Beach Buddies)

Bill Dale told Manx Radio the belief some have that the charity is around to pick up anything is 'not on' and they're not going to put up with it anymore. 

He says it's time for 'serious investigations':
