Five alcohol-related arrests on Black Eye Friday

Final Friday before Christmas can be busy for Island's police

Five people were arrested for alcohol-related offences overnight.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says a total of six people are waking up in the cells this morning, with five there as a result of incidents relating to drink.

It comes after what's commonly known as Black Eye Friday - the final Friday before Christmas.

Police warned in advance that the evening can be one of the busiest of the year for the Island's officers.
