Fire service rescue casualty from 'tipped' all-terrain vehicle

Dispatched by the ESJCR to assist the Ambulance Service

Fire crews from Douglas were called out yesterday (28 April) after an all-terrain vehicle had tipped over, leaving a casualty trapped within.

The teams, along with the Duty Officer, were dispatched by the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to assist the Ambulance Service.

Upon arrival, crews assisted paramedics to remove the casualty from the vehicle using small hand tools before transferring them to a waiting ambulance.
