FC Isle of Man stuck in Liverpool overnight

Follows 1-1 draw away to Northwich Victoria

UPDATE: The team's morning flight was cancelled once again, and they are now making their way to Heysham for the afternoon sailing.

FC Isle of Man faced a tough test over the weekend as they travelled to promotion-chasing Northwich Victoria in the NWCFL Premier Division.

The Manx side emerged with a draw against the team - before getting stuck in Liverpool overnight.

Taking to social media, the team revealed their flight back to the Island was cancelled.

It's hoped their 10:30am flight today will go ahead without further issue.

Meanwhile, the Isle of Man Airport is urging those travelling to leave extra time to check-in.

It's understood there are still issues with the baggage belt system which is causing delays.

Ronaldsway say all hold luggage must go through the 'baggage referral' which may take longer than usual.
