Work due to start in late October
Steps will be taken to minimise the disruption to motorists while the refurbishment of Douglas Promenade takes place - according to the Infrastructure Minister.
Yesterday, 2 October, it was announced that Auldyn Construction has been appointed as the preferred contractor for the £25 million scheme.
Work is due to start in late October, and the project will take two years.
But Ray Harmer concedes there will be some pinch points.
