easyJet 'sorry' as changes made to flight schedule

Manx customers report being moved onto alternate flights

easyJet has said it is sorry for any inconvenience caused after alterations were made to its flight schedule between the UK and Isle of Man in the coming months.

Many Manx customers have reported changes being made to their bookings, without warning.

Whizz Wilson, from Ramsey, was due to travel to Gatwick in mid-August with her family, before travelling on to Corfu. But, after their flight from Ronaldsway was moved from 2pm to 9pm, she says they've had to rethink their plans:

In a statement issued to Manx Radio the airline says: "All airlines make some adjustments on an ongoing basis as needed and where any changes to the schedule are made we rebook customers on alternative flights in advance along with the choice to rebook to a different flight or a refund. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."

"We continue to serve the Isle of Man with up to 14 flights a day including up to two times a day to London Gatwick as well as connections to Belfast, Bristol, Liverpool and Manchester."

Meanwhile, today's easyJet flights between the Isle of Man and London Gatwick have been cancelled.

A note on the airline's app says it's due to 'air traffic control restrictions caused by adverse weather conditions' in the UK.
