Equality Act to be fully implemented in January
Several eateries in Douglas are now providing large print menus, to cater for visually impaired customers.
It's come after a push by Douglas Town Centre Management to support the Manx Blind Welfare Society during Vision Awareness Week 2019.
Restaurants across the capital have produced new menus with a minimum size 16 fonts, to assist those with visual impairments, but also those with dyslexia.
The charity is also supporting local businesses by offering staff training and to produce Braille menus free of charge.
It's part of preparations for the full implementation of the Equality Act in January 2020.
