Improving roads won't just benefit road users, says Baker
Investment is needed to regenerate Douglas, but it can't all come from government.
That's the view of Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker as his department outlines its 15-year plan for improving roads around the Island's capital.
Mr Baker hopes the proposals will benefit everyone who visits Douglas, not just road users.
However, he says work on brownfield sites around the town is also vital:
Douglas council seeking sites for future housing development
Yellow alert for heavy rain issued, replacing previous warning
Most Manx students studying in northern universities
Mobile Library to return to the road
