Douglas Council says paper collection is normal 'for the immediate future'

Last week the DoI said paper recycling at bring banks will be stopped 

Douglas City Council says residents can continue to put paper in the recycling boxes as normal.

It comes after the Department of Infrastructure said paper recycling at bring banks on the Island is being stopped in a bid to save money.

However, the council says the Eastern Civic Amenity Site will continue to collect paper as normal 'for the immediate future'.

It added the amenity site committee will meet later this month and advise the authority if any changes are required.
