A Douglas Central MHK believes politicians need to offer the public 'decisive' topics and solutions to vote on in the next general election.

Chris Thomas argues that beginning policy formation after an election without a clear mandate from the electorate leads to too little being accomplished.

In the House of Keys, there was discussion on the potential for backbenchers and parties to form coalitions if their views align.

While he thinks the Isle of Man may not favour party politics, he suggests changes are needed in how politicians present themselves:
