Incident happened outside Douglas nightclub in December
A doorman from Ramsey has appeared in court charged with seriously injuring a drinker in a Douglas nightclub.
Twenty-four-year-old Anthony Peter Laurence Foster of Riverside appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He’s charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm on 20 December at 1886 on Regent Street.
Prosecution advocate Hazel Carroon told the hearing he’s said to have injured the man after being spat at.
Mr Foster was bailed to appear in court again on 14 April.
