Delays to residents receiving Onchan by-election polling cards

The local authority says it's due an issue with the Isle of Man Post Office

Onchan Commissioners says issues with sorting equipment at the post office has meant a number of residents don't have a polling card for the by-election on Thursday.

The local authority has confirmed it's received 'a lot' of enquiries about the cards but says if a voter is correctly registered they can vote without the need to present it at the polling station.

Isle of Man Post Office has told the commissioners poll cards due for issue will be posted and received prior to polling day.
Residents can vote at The Hub on School Road on Thursday 14th November 2024 between 8am and 8pm.

A voter can check and change their details on the Register or contact the Crown and Elections Team within the Cabinet Office.

The commissioners say if a voter has any queries relating to the by-election then they should contact the local authority's offices.
