Delays to Heritage Trail verge cutting blamed on people ignoring closure signs

Work now expected to finish on 5 October

Delays to verge cutting on the Heritage Trail have been partially blamed on people ignoring the closure signs.

The Department of Infrastructure says it's only been able to reach Kerrogarrow Road in Greeba so far.

Contractors had to halt work while people were passing by.

From today (1 October) the trail will be closed in sections until Saturday (5 October) and will be clearly signposted.
