Higher temperatures prompt delays to resurfacing work
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed that resurfacing work on the A1 at Crosby Rise, west of Crosby village, is taking longer than anticipated due to higher temperatures.
The repaired lane is not expected to be ready for traffic until around 6pm (7 April).
Manual traffic control will be in place during this evening's rush hour to help manage delays.
Meanwhile, workers will move to Gorse Lea, west of Greeba, tomorrow (8 April).
Two sections of the road - one in each lane - will undergo paver patching, with the work expected to take up to two days to complete.
Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the works using temporary traffic lights.
