Cost of milk to increase in January

Third price rise in nine months announced

The cost of a pint of Manx milk is set to increase by 5p from January next year.

From New Year's Day, a pint of milk will be sold for 85p, up from 80p.

Milk sold in cartons between 250ml and one litre in size will cost 80p per 500ml - that's also a rise of 5p.

It will be the third price rise in nine months, with previous increases being seen in April and August this year.
