Alfred Cannan looks ahead before July budget update
The treasury minister says the true cost of the economic impact of Covid-19 on the Isle of Man will become clearer in Autumn.
Alfred Cannan was asked during the Tynwald Day ceremony for an overview of the Island's financial circumstances, ahead of the unveiling of the revised budget later this month.
Unemployment more than tripled at the peak of the lockdown, while government launched a number of support schemes for individuals and businesses.
Mr Cannan says time will tell:
Reopening of Martin Ward delayed following further safety checks
Major reservoir projects completed on time and on budget
Law Society responds to 'anecdotal' reports of conveyancing log-jam
Repair scheme an 'antidote to throwaway culture'
