Treasury minister doesn't think key health services should be privatised
Core essential health services are better provided by a large organisation like Manx Care than private providers according to the treasury minister.
Alex Allinson's comments come after the former health minister accused the chief minister of wanting to privatise the Island's health service.
Lawrie Hooper made the claims as he resigned from the Council of Ministers in Tynwald this week.
Dr Allinson told Manx Radio he isn't aware of such plans but believes key services shouldn't be run by third parties:
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will appear on Manx Radio's Perspective with Phil Gawne from 12pm today (20 October).
