Highways member insists situation isn't unusual
The politician responsible for the Island's highways believes differences of views over aspects of major projects, such as Douglas Promenade, are perfectly normal.
After cracks appeared in concrete laid on Queen's promenade in the early stages of the £25million scheme, the designers and the contractors are now arguing over where fault may lie.
Tim Baker MHK says such a situation is not unusual in this type of scheme, and it doesn't involve legal action:
