Connectivity success dependent on good relations with airlines says minister

£4million of taxpayers' money being used to support routes

Around £4million of taxpayers’ money is currently being used to support air routes to and from the Isle of Man.

The enterprise minister says he doesn’t expect that figure to drop as renewed efforts are made to increase connectivity.

This week Tynwald unanimously approved the Strategic Air Services Policy which reiterates a commitment to the current open skies arrangement.
