Juan Watterson seeking approval for a series of recommendations
A code of conduct for journalists in Tynwald would provide a proper framework for the court when approached by overseas networks.
That's the view of Juan Watterson, Chairman of the Standards Select Committee.
He's seeking approval for a series of recommendations - such as improved camera access in the chamber - when he lays the motion before Tynwald on January 17.
Mr Watterson says it will serve as official guidance for both local and off-Island reporters:
