Public Health hopes to build a better picture of the Island's situation
Twelve-year-olds are going to be included in a survey of children's dental health on the Isle of Man.
Last year a similar assessment was carried out of five-year-olds, which revealed more than a quarter have decayed, missing or filled teeth.
Both surveys will now be carried out on alternate years to get a better picture of children's oral health here.
Almost a third of those on the waiting list for a dentist are under 18.
