Change in season means a change in mental well-being?

Improvements in mood could be due to spring time

The arrival of spring can improve people's mental wellbeing.

Counselling Psychologist Ruari Donald believes both this and other seasons can affect our mood in different ways - a sign we may recognise as seasonal affective disorder.

Many associate the winter period with hardship and gloomy weather  - but does the forthcoming season promise something new?

Mr Donald says the longer days can have a positive benefit to our mood:-
