More than 600 volunteers in May for Beach Buddies
The founder of Beach Buddies says he believes there's been a culture change in attitudes towards keeping the Island clean.
Bill Dale was speaking at the end of a month which saw more than 600 volunteers helping out, two-thirds of them for the first time.
He believes people are now happy to be seen picking up rubbish wherever they are, not just in organised groups:
