Crossings could be 'huge asset for the Island'
There's a call for the reinstatement of heritage trail bridges on the Isle of Man to be given serious consideration.
It's one of the recommendations in a report on active travel, which will be debated by Tynwald in May.
The heritage trail bridges were going to be reinstated at Glen Wyllin, Glen Mooar and across the A1 near Ballaleece in St John’s, but these plans were halted.
Committee chair Rob Mercer MLC says reconnecting sections of the the former steam railway line could be a huge asset:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
