14 items on today's question paper
Two of the most contentious current political issues will be discussed in the House of Keys today (Tuesday, 23 April).
They are the Bishop’s vote in the Legislative Council and Tynwald and the Assisted Dying Bill.
But that won’t come until a 14-item question paper has been dealt with.
First there is an urgent question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK, Jason Moorhouse concerning the hospitality trade.
Mr Moorhouse follows that with a question about legal aspects of the Assisted Dying Bill.
He will then ask if Manx tourism can be advertised at the new ferry terminal in Liverpool, and also about the absence of flights to Belfast.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford will also ask about hospitality, and has queries about school pupil suspensions and rest breaks for workers.
Other topics include the Council of Minister's policy on access to Braddan's new Roundhouse, the creation of a housing association and assessment undertaken into the legal age for buying cigarettes.
Former Education Minister Julie Edge will asks when the Child First Policy will be published.
The sitting starts at 10am, you can listen live on Manx Radio AM1368 or via the Listen Now tab.
