Machine taken from motorhome
An Irish visitor has thanked the Isle of Man for its help as he searches for his motorbike, which was stolen at the weekend.
Ted Murphy and his girlfriend were parked in their motorhome at the Onchan end of Douglas Promenade on Saturday night.
But when they got up, they discovered his Irish-registered blue and white 1989 Yamaha 225 had been taken.
Ted, a disabled former mechanic who’s a regular visitor to the MGP, says people have rallied round in support:
Reducing hospitality VAT would 'directly affect' provision of frontline services
No conversations with UK over a reduction in VAT rates for hospitality businesses planned
