It's too grim up north
Beach Buddies' planned trip out to Ballaghennie this morning has been called off, organisers have confirmed.
The coastal cleaning group were hoping to repair damage wrought by recent bad weather at the Ayres - but persistent wind and rain have once again put paid to the idea.
Anyone still fancying a challenge is encouraged to tackle rubbish on their local beach today, using one of Beach Buddies' 38 marked bins.
Weather permitting, there will be another scheduled meetup next weekend.
