BBC presenter apologises for not declaring earnings from IOM event

Clive Myrie earned at least £10,000 for the job

The BBC's Clive Myrie's been forced to apologise after not declaring his earnings from an event he hosted on the Isle of Man.

The Times newspaper reports it's one of eleven jobs the presenter failed to inform his employer about.

In November last year Mr Myrie was hired as debate chairman at GreenTalks Live, which was hosted by the Isle of Man's Energy & Sustainability Centre.

He was paid more than £10,000 for the event.

In total, at least £65,000 of earnings weren't declared by Mr Myrie.
