Ballalockie should be complete by the end of Summer 

It's in aid of Lockie Kirk who is undergoing treatment at Derby House in Liverpool 

The man behind a project to make a home more accessible for a Manx teenager injured in a car crash says the renovation requires 'a lot more attention and understanding'. 

It's 15 weeks since Jonathan Kneen started work on the Ballalockie project at the Kirk family home in Peel and he's hoping to have it ready be the end of the summer.

It's in aid of Lockie Kirk who is undergoing treatment at Derby House in Liverpool - and is hoped to return to the Island later this year.

Currently, when the 19-year-old does return home for a visit he sleeps in a hospital bed in the family lounge as his wheelchair cannot access other parts of the house.
