Chief Minister hints at fresh political grouping
Could a new political group be forming on the Isle of Man?
The chief minister hinted at such a development in Tynwald this week saying he believes it’ll be putting forward ‘alternative plans’ in July.
Alfred Cannan told the court the group would consist of Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas, Onchan MHK Julie Edge and Douglas South MHK Claire Christian.
Manx Radio understands an announcement will be made in due course.
It followed a lengthy debate over updates to the Island Plan which the trio was critical of:
