Is a bridge to Forfar a bridge too far?

A prominent architect claims a road bridge linking Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man would improve the countries' futures.

Professor Alan Dunlop estimates the massive engineering project would cost around £15 billion.

It comes after UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson was ridiculed for his suggestion of a bridge across the English Channel to the French president a week ago.

Mr Dunlop says he was inspired by fjord-spanning 'floating' bridges in Scandinavia.

He told Manx Radio not only is the project feasible - but it could have real economic benefit:
