Dr John Sentamu on Island wide tour
The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu has praised the can-do spirit of the Isle of Man's communities.
Visiting all 14 dioceses in the province of York, from Nottingham to the Scottish border, the Archbishop has been on the Island for two days of visits to local schools and charities.
Citing the work of the International Development Committee and the Manx Credit Union, he said an 'attitude of positivity' had spread since his last visit two years ago.
Dr Sentamu was enthusiastic about the projects and the people he'd met:
'Pressure in the system' but bed figures are wrong says Manx Care
Work permits 'form part of longer-term plan' says Johnston
First Deemster and Clerk of Rolls appointed to senior roles
Mother's Day recognition for women who ‘shape our community’
