87 per cent in favour of change
The MHK behind a major consultation on reforming abortion laws says it demonstrates an appetite for change in the Island.
Responses to the six-week survey, which included proposals to legalise terminations up to 14 weeks into a pregnancy for Manx women, will be published by government tomorrow morning (Thu).
Preliminary findings showed strong support for the changes, with 87% of those who reponded in favour.
