1886 owner ready to welcome thousands to 'Big Stage'

Big name acts due to appear over TT fortnight including Jessie J tonight

The owner of a bar in Douglas is looking ahead to one of the biggest music festivals on the Island in over a decade.

The '1886 Big Stage', at Villiers Square, launched yesterday (28 May) and will operate throughout the TT fortnight.

There's capacity for at least 4,500 people to watch the acts which will include Madness, Nile Rodgers and - this evening - Jessie J.
